Topic: Capital Market 411 for Today’s IRO
Everything we thought we knew about the capital markets has drastically changed over the last ten years. We’ll focus on how your stock really trades, and drill down to what brought about these changes in market structure and what it all means to the practice of investor relations. By the end of this event, you’ll leave as a more powerful IRO.

Brian joined Liquidnet’s Corporate Strategy Group in 2009, and is responsible for expanding Liquidnet’s fast-growing Equity Capital Markets business.
A serial entrepreneur with a focus on disruptive innovation in the financial sector, Brian came to the Wall Street in 2000 as a co-founder of Jaywalk Incorporated, a firm that aggregated and distributed independent stock research to institutional and individual investors. Brian remained with the firm for 5 years following the firm’s acquisition by Bank of New York in 2001.
Brian went on to help the NASDAQ Stock Market launch an initiative to assist small cap public companies in attracting research coverage called the Independent Research Network (IRN) and helped Credit Suisse launch an electronic platform for marrying institutional investors with public company executives called Intelligent Access.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Florida.
